Centreforce 88.3fm was founded on the 8th May 1989. This was the biggest and most influential underground radio station from the Acid House and Summer of Love era. It was the birthplace of the most influential DJ’s and record labels in dance music history.
In 2007, Centreforce surfaced once again to the joy and amazement of the old skool connoisseurs whose memories of the Summer of Love were once again ignited.
Centreforce soon became the platform for underground dance music network - recreating the vibe that its listeners thought was once lost. Centreforce became the most popular internet dance station by far and had secured the biggest DJ line up with the likes of: J.J Frost, Nicky Blackmarket, DJ Slipmat, Randall, Kenny Ken, Top Buzz, Ray Keith, The Artful Dodger, Pied Piper and the originators DJ Pasha, Keith Mac & DJ One.
The demand from the general public has prompted Time FM to license the brand and broadcast it on 107.5 FM.
The Centreforce Sessions is a unique brand consisting of big name DJ’s, big tunes, big events and parties. Our one and only aim is to entertain the listener and to put a smile on everybody’s faced. We are a brand that is rich in history and knowledge and believe that the loyal following we have created is second to none.

The late 1980,s the UK saw the birth of a new youth culture called Acid house .
This scene was soon to outgrow the underground clubs of London with every colour & creed dancing through the night & shouting Mental @ warehouse parties & outdoor raves attended by thousands.
Centreforce was the first 24 hour acid house station in history & we will take you on the most authentic trip down memory lane yet.
If you attended the last summer of love party YOU are the reason that there had to be another.
Due to public demand we will again re create all of your favourite old skooooool memories in every way possible & guarantee the original qualities of the 88-89 era which is what makes these parties so special.
We have gone back to the roots of acid house parties with an original warehouse venue 20 k sound system & plenty of smoke strobes lazers & most importantly lots happy smiling faces.
